Whether you prefer hand-drawn sketches or digital drafting, this class will equip you with the skills to refine your neon planning process and set yourself up for success in the bending studio.

Perfect for neon enthusiasts or designers interested in neon, beginners looking to improve their approach, or experienced benders looking to expand their tools and workflow. Note: This is a seminar style class that will meet in the PGC Classroom. A laptop is required for this class to work with digital tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape. Capture the light with glass. In this introductory 4-hour workshop, you'll harness the structural power of glass and solder to create a beautiful three-dimensional candle holder that is perfect for creating magical ambience. Under the guidance of a skilled artist, you’ll learn essential stained glass techniques including glass cutting, copper foiling, soldering, and assembling. At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a handcrafted candle holder that will add charm to any space.

PGC 123 It’s alive… in glass. In this introductory workshop, spark your imagination as you twist, melt, and sculpt your own glass monsters and mythical creatures using a 3,000°F torch. Guided by a skilled instructor, learn torch basics and add colors, texture, and personality. Add a glass loop or keep them as sculptures, perfect to wear, share, or show off.

Start your glass garden and celebrate the first day of Spring. In this Spring-themed introductory workshop, make two different glass garden items. You will gather glass from the 2,100°F furnace and add color. Then guided by a skilled instructor, you will twist, pull, and sculpt it to create one whimsical mushroom and one fantastic glass flower.

This workshop is a fun introductory experience to hot glass sculpting. Each participant will make two unique seasonal creations, perfect for brightening your home or gifting to a fellow garden lover.
