Grow your creativity and no green thumb required. In this introductory workshop, you’ll gather glass from the 2,100°F furnace and add color. Then guided by a skilled instructor, you will sculpt and blow your own unique glass succulents. No sunlight or soil required.

This workshop is a fun introductory experience into hot glassblowing and hot glass sculpting. Each participant will craft two whimsical succulents, perfect for display, gifting, or brightening any space with a touch of glassy greenery.

Ages 14+

Crawl into the world of molten glass. In this introductory workshop, learn the basics of using a 3,000°F torch to melt and sculpt glass rods into beetles, bugs, and creepy or cute creatures. Guided by a skilled instructor, you’ll add color, legs, spots, and personality. Turn your buggy creations into magnets or keep them as mini sculptures. Perfect for your home, fridge, or friend who loves tiny creatures.

Flameworked Garden Slugs

Take it slow and let your creativity slide. In this introductory workshop, learn to heat and shape borosilicate glass into charming little slugs using a 3,000°F torch. Guided by a skilled instructor, learn torch basics and add color and texture to make each one your own sluggish creation. Add a glass loop to make it wearable or keep it as a figurine to add to a potted plant.

Fused Sports Dish and Coasters

Show off your team spirit. In this introductory workshop, you’ll design a custom glass dish and matching coasters inspired by your favorite sports team. Under guidance of a skilled instructor, learn to cut colorful sheet glass and use frit (colored glass granules) and stringers (thin glass rods) to build your design. Then we’ll fire it in the kiln to fuse all the pieces together. The result is a coordinated set that’s both functional and eye-catching, perfect for game day snacks, drinks, or as a one-of-a-kind gift for any sports fan. Let your creativity lead your design. In this unique mashed up workshop, you can make a combination of dishes and coasters in the allotted time. Example sets might include two dishes, one dish and two coasters, or a set of four coasters.

Guided by a skilled instructor, you’ll apply color and surface texture to make it your own. Perfect for finding your center, a tool for fidgeting, or great for gifting.

Stained Glass Bevel Suncatcher

Get started with stained glass. In this introductory workshop, you’ll explore the fundamentals of stained glass techniques as you create a beautiful suncatcher or ornament. Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, you’ll use pre-cut and beveled edge glass with traditional stained glass lead came and solder to assemble your shiny work of art.
