This workshop is an engaging, hands-on introductory experience in hot glass sculpting. Each participant will craft two unique mushrooms, perfect for display, gifting, or adding a magical glass touch to any plant or space.

Discover the art of printmaking with glass. In this introductory workshop, you’ll use cold shop etching tools to engrave your own glass plate and create a unique design. Once your plate is complete, you’ll bring your artwork to life with ink, transferring your design onto paper.

 

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with both your engraved glass plate and your printed work, ready to display, gift, or admire.

 

 

Celebrate spooky season with stained glass! In this introductory 4-hour workshop, you’ll create a Halloween-inspired stained glass suncatcher. Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, you’ll learn the fundamentals of stained glass, including how to cut glass, follow a pattern, use the copper foiling method, and solder your pieces together.

Using colorful sheet glass and traditional stained glass techniques, you’ll assemble a bold and playful spooky design—think ghosts, pumpkins, bats, or other seasonal motifs—that comes alive as light passes through it. Your finished piece is perfect for displaying in a window or on a wall to add a festive glow all season long.

Feel the heat of the hot shop as you shape molten glass into a one-of-a-kind blown glass pumpkin. In this quick and exciting hot shop experience, you’ll work closely with a skilled artist to blow and shape glass from our 2,100°F furnace into a festive pumpkin perfect for celebrating autumn or brightening your space year-round.

Make-It-Now experiences offer a quick hands-on introduction to the magic of glassmaking. In the hot shop, you’ll work one-on-one with a skilled local artist at the 2,100°F furnace. In about 15 minutes or less, you’ll work together to shape, color, and craft your glass item. Perfect for beginners, these short experiences offer a taste of the excitement, skill, and artistry that goes into working with glass in a supportive, guided setting.

Adult supervision is required for any children under 14 years old.

Due to the nature of hot glass, items cannot be taken home the same day they are created. All items made in the hot shop must go through an annealing process to slowly cool the glass. Items are available for pick-up after 5 days. Shipping can be arranged on site the day of your activity.

Trick or treat? In this quick and exciting flame shop experience, you’ll work closely with a skilled artist to gather and shape molten glass into whimsical glass candy using a 3,000°F torch. Finish it with a magnet or glass loop to make an ornament or pendant, or leave it as a fun and festive sculpture.

Make-It-Now experiences offer a quick hands-on introduction to the magic of glassmaking. In the flame shop, you’ll work one-on-one with a skilled local artist at a 3,000° tabletop torch. In about 20 minutes or less, you’ll work together to heat, shape, color, and craft your glass item. Perfect for beginners, these short experiences give a taste of the excitement, skill, and artistry that goes into working with glass in a supportive, guided setting.

PGC 224 Put your personal touch on handblown glass pumpkins. In this introductory workshop, you’ll start with two clear glass pumpkins hand crafted by our glass artists and use an industrial sandblaster to create your own designs, playful faces, names, patterns, or other details. With guidance from an experienced instructor, you’ll transform each piece into something uniquely your own.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with both of your sandblasted pumpkins, ready to display or give as gifts. One pumpkin has an opening at the base, perfect for adding fairy lights (not included) to create a glowing seasonal luminary.

Celebrate the colors of autumn with handmade fused glass. In this introductory workshop, you’ll explore the fundamentals of fused glass while creating a vibrant fall-inspired suncatcher. Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, you’ll learn how to cut and arrange sheet glass while incorporating frit (colored glass granules) and stringers (thin glass rods) into your seasonal design.

Using warm autumn colors and festive imagery inspired by falling leaves, pumpkins, and harvest themes, you’ll assemble a luminous suncatcher that catches and transforms light. Once your design is complete, we’ll fire it in the kiln so all the pieces fuse together into a finished work of art. Perfect for brightening a window or adding a handmade touch to your seasonal décor.

Give your empty bottles and jars a second life. In this introductory workshop, you’ll transform everyday glass into beautiful and functional pieces like drinking glasses, vases, candle holders, or unique decor.

 

Bring 2–4 clean bottles or jars, and a skilled instructor will guide you through cutting, grinding, polishing, sandblasting, and engraving to create your own custom designs.
