Create your own distinctive glass goblet in this immersive two-day introductory workshop, combining both hot and cold glass techniques. In the first session, work in the hot shop under the guidance of skilled instructors to gather, color, and shape molten glass from the 2,100°F furnace, forming the foot and stem of your goblet. 

In the second session, transition to the cold shop to etch and sandblast a pre-made top, adding personalized designs that make your vessel truly unique. Instructors will also guide you through cutting, gluing, and assembling your pieces to create a functional and striking final goblet.

This workshop is a great introductory experience in both hot and cold glass processes, resulting in a one-of-a-kind piece you’ll be proud to take home.

Guided by a skilled instructor, learn to heat, shape, and add color to glass using a 3,000°F torch while making functional and fabulous drink accessories. Perfect for entertaining, gifting, or adding whimsy to your home bar.

Make your coffee table pop with your own handmade glass coasters. In this introductory workshop, learn to cut and assemble sheet glass and combine it with frit (colored glass granules) and stringers (thin colored glass rods) to design a set of one-of-a-kind coasters.

Once you design them, we’ll fire your creations in the kiln fusing all the pieces into a cohesive set of functional coasters, perfect for your home or as a fun handmade gift.

Stories, sunshine, and sparkle. Join us for a bright and creative experience for little artists and their grown-ups. We’ll start by reading a story together in the gallery, exploring colors, light, and shapes in the artwork around us. Then, inspired by what we’ve seen, you’ll work side-by-side to design and decorate your own glass suncatcher, perfect for catching a bit of sunshine at home. This is a fun way for kids and their adults to learn, play, and create together. This activity is designed for young artists ages 5 to 6 and their accompanying adults.

Suncatchers will be fired in a kiln and cooled slowly so that your creation can shine safely. They will be ready for pickup in five days.

PGC 123 Show off your team spirit. In this introductory workshop, you’ll design a custom glass dish and matching coasters inspired by your favorite sports team. Under guidance of a skilled instructor, learn to cut colorful sheet glass and use frit (colored glass granules) and stringers (thin glass rods) to build your design. Then we’ll fire it in the kiln to fuse all the pieces together. The result is a coordinated set that’s both functional and eye-catching, perfect for game day snacks, drinks, or as a one-of-a-kind gift for any sports fan. Let your creativity lead your design. In this unique mashed up workshop, you can make a combination of dishes and coasters in the allotted time. Example sets might include two dishes, one dish and two coasters, or a set of four coasters.
