Fused Glass Coasters
PGC 123 Make your coffee table pop with your own handmade glass coasters. In this introductory workshop, learn to cut and assemble sheet glass and combine it with frit (colored glass granules) and stringers (thin colored glass rods) to design a set of one-of-a-kind coasters.
Once you design them, we’ll fire your creations in the kiln fusing all the pieces into a cohesive set of functional coasters, perfect for your home or as a fun handmade gift.
Ages 14+
Due to the nature of hot glass, your items will be available for pickup 5 days after your activity.
Introduction to Stained Glass
PGC 1 In this introductory class, you will learn the basics for working with flat colorful glass such as cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. You'll explore the famous Tiffany method of construction and work with provided patterns to create a finished stained glass panel ready for display. No experience necessary. This class is designed for beginners, and is a prerequisite for Intermediate Stained Glass.
Class tuition includes 2 hours of open-studio time to be used during the 8-week course period. Open Studio is held on Monday Nights 5:00pm - 9:00pm.
Multiweek classes do not meet the week of 3/1-3/7.

Stained Glass Terrarium
Build glass magic for your windowsill. In this introductory 4-hour workshop, you’ll combine the beauty of glass with the strength of solder to craft a small three-dimensional stained glass terrarium. Perfect for small plants, cuttings, or propagations, each piece becomes a stunning home for your greenery. Under the guidance of a skilled artist, you’ll learn essential stained glass techniques including glass cutting, copper foiling, soldering, and assembling. At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a handcrafted terrarium that’s ready to showcase your plants in style.

Intermediate Stained Glass
PGC 1 Choose from a variety of patterns and learn the traditional technique of lead came. This technique is necessary to create a window that will be exposed to outdoor elements. Understanding this technique will allow you to feel comfortable moving forward with larger, more permanent stained glass creations.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Stained Glass or 24 hours of stained glass experience with instructor experience is required.

Under the guidance of a skilled instructor you’ll learn to cut, shape, and assemble glass into delicate wings. Then you’ll solder your creation with glass gems into a charming, decorative piece. A perfect project for beginners who love colorful, nature-inspired art.
