Calendar Next available session starts Apr 4, 2026 at 12:30 pm, runs for 4 weeks

Start your fusing journey or take it to the next level. Learn how to create your own vitrigraph stringers by shaping molten glass while it flows out of the bottom of a kiln. Vitrigraph is ideal for creating realistic-looking tree branches, vines, flower stems and other organic shapes. In this class you'll learn proper safety and how to set up the kiln. You'll learn to select and blend colors and pull molten glass into a variety of thick-to-thin strings, twisted strands, loops, coils, and other shapes. Each week we'll pull a different color, cover general fusing education, and create functional plates, bowls, suncatchers, and other one-of-a-kind pieces. No experience needed.

Fused Sports Dish and Coasters

$115 MEMBER PRICE: $115
Calendar Next available session starts Apr 11, 2026 at 4 pm
Show off your team spirit. In this introductory workshop, you’ll design a custom glass dish and matching coasters inspired by your favorite sports team. Under guidance of a skilled instructor, learn to cut colorful sheet glass and use frit (colored glass granules) and stringers (thin glass rods) to build your design. Then we’ll fire it in the kiln to fuse all the pieces together. The result is a coordinated set that’s both functional and eye-catching, perfect for game day snacks, drinks, or as a one-of-a-kind gift for any sports fan. Let your creativity lead your design. In this unique mashed up workshop, you can make a combination of dishes and coasters in the allotted time. Example sets might include two dishes, one dish and two coasters, or a set of four coasters.

Ages 14+

Due to the nature of hot glass, your items will be available for pickup 5 days after your activity.
